It often seems that an  educated person today is expected to dismiss Bible history as questionable, consider the miracles mentioned in the Bible as either symbolic or overstatements of the facts, regard comments about an Adam and Eve as scientifically inaccurate and consider the whole book as a working and reworking of fables and legends.

The former reverence and respect given  to the Bible in centuries past, now is sadly lacking.

The book, Examining Criticisms of the Bible, implores the reader to evaluate the relevance of the Bible and to reconsider the evidence that relate to its historical, moral and scientific accuracy.

Well researched and presented in a clear and understandable way.

Dr. Henry Halley wrote his classic handbook with one goal in mind: to help people read the bible with understanding .

Includes a concise Bible commentary, important discoveries in archaeology, related historical data, christian, history, maps, and  much more.

Halley's Bible Handbook  contains more biblical information than any other book of its size.  It has been a continuous best-seller through the years and has sold more than five million copies in many languages since it was first puplished in 1965.

The Trinity doctrine has been defined as the 'Unbreakable Chain.'

Christendom claims this teaching to be the "central doctrine of the Christian religion" and "the heart and center of Christian faith."

Protestant Theologian Dr. James R. White remarked: "We hang a person's very salvation upon the acceptance of the doctrine . We must know, understand, and love the Trinity to be fully and completely Christian."

However many   in Christendom readily admit the failings of the doctrine of the trinity.

Jesuit Edmund Fortman says: "There is no evidence that any sacred writer even suspected the existence of a [Trinity] within the Godhead . New Testament writers . give us no formal or formulated doctrine of the Trinity."

There is clearly  disagreement and disunity even amongst Trinitarians themselves.

The reasons for their confusion are revealed and explained clearly and intelligently in Robert L Georges excellent book : "The Trinity's Weak Links Revealed".

Michael J. Behe is a biochemist at Lehigh University, USA.

In his book "Darwins Black Box" he presents here a scientific argument for the existence of God.

After spending many years carrying out a careful and detailed study of evolutionary theory of the origins of life, he concludes  that the theory is unsatisfactory and creates more problems than it solves.

The essential randomness of the process can explain evolutionary development only at the macro level, not at the micro level. Within the biochemistry of living cells, he argues, life is "irreducibly complex." This is the last black box to be opened, the end of the road for science.

Faced with complexity at this level, Behe suggests that it can only be the product of "intelligent design."
